Cleaning Out Your Bookshelves, Garage, Attic Or Basement?
You can sell your used books to Keystone Books and Gifts (even ones you purchased recently from us) to get discounts and credits on other book purchases. We don’t make trade offers for everything but we do consider books that are in good to better condition. Of course we also want it to be something that we can potentially sell so what we purchase is based on inventory needs and this can change. Please speak with someone in the store for more details.
When you drop off books please remember to allow adequate time for us to evaluate your books. If it is just a few books we can often do it in less than 30 minutes. This really depends on who else walks in the door as often times the same person who researches books also checks out customer. The trade value will be based on how much we think we would be able to sell it for. So after we research your books we will make you a trade offer based on 20-50% of what we believe we can resell your items for.
We can pick up your donated books from your house, or even work it out to meet up with you at a half way point destination. Sorry, we do not offer discounts/credits on books picked up.
While we are more than willing to make a trade offer on your books, please consider donating them if you are not in need to sell them. Every donation helps us keep the bookstore dream alive. Books that we are unable to use we do our best to re-purpose them or donate them to charities.
We are pleased to accept gently used books in clean condition. Books in poor or unsaleable condition will be donated elsewhere.
If you would like to keep any books we cannot use rather than pass them on to charities, please be sure to let us know ahead of time.
